I did not possess a gun or bullets during my University tenure. Records, authored by Judy DeMers, confirm no mention of a gun or bullets. Associate Dean Judy DeMers lied to University committees and ultimately the Court by creating and utilizing the following factually incorrect allegation to create false and negative impressions of me to obtain my medical school dismissal.
JUDY DEMERS’ LIE
11-9 - 11-13-88. I received telephone calls from Vivian Nelson at 2:30 a.m. and again at 6:00 a.m. She stated she was very depressed. She denied suicidal thoughts, but talked about having a gun (and no bullets - first call); and a gun and a bullet (2nd call). She agree to hospitalization at the United Hospital Psychiatric Unit. I called SHS for he order; picked her up; drove her to the hospital; and stayed with her until the admission was complete(7:30 a.m.). I visited for short periods on each day of hospitalization. I met with Vivian and her psychiatrist, Dr. Terry Lehman, on Friday, 11-11-88. Vivian was discharged on Sunday, 11-13-88. I gave her a ride home; and arranged to see her in my office on 11-14-88 (Monday).
