JUDY DEMERS’ FALSE STATEMENT DATED MARCH 6, 1990
Date incident allegedly occurred: March 6, 1990
Date of official medical school "dismissal": June 25, 1990
Date University first notified me of this charge: February 8, 1991
FACTS:
University records reveal I did not meet or converse with Judy DeMers on March 6, 1990. Consequently, no discussion of withdrawal from the University transpired. Nevertheless, Associate Dean Judy DeMers lied to University committees and ultimately the Court by creating and utilizing the following false statement to obtain my medical school dismissal.
JUDY DEMERS’ LIE
3-6-90. Vivian formerly requested postponement of all five block exams (the four regularly scheduled exams in this block and the make-up exam for the first Gross Anatomy test scheduled on 3-12-90) until summer. I told her I would not support this request. She also saw the Associate Dean for Basic Science and the involved course directors. Her requests were denied.
In our 3-6-90 meeting, she also discussed with me why she might want to withdraw from UNDSM.
