UND NAMES NEW HEAD OF INTERNAL MEDICINE

Dr. Charles Foulks has been named to head the Department of Internal Medicine at UND's School of Medicine and Health Sciences.

Foulks, from Temple, Texas, takes over a department that is in the process of making changes to meet national accreditation standards. A recent report found that the internal medicine department no longer complies with all of the accreditation standards.

RESIDENT PROGRAM GETS CLEAN BILL OF HEALTH

After a bad review that threatened its accreditation, a UND medical program has made a full recovery.

It remains to be seen however, if UND can keep this program from sinking to its previous level of ill health.
