UND PLANE HAS TROUBLE LANDING AT GF AIRPORT

The landing gear of a small plane collapsed late Thursday afternoon while the plane was landing at Grand Forks International Airport.

Two people were in the UND-owned plane at the time of the mishap, but neither the pilot nor passenger were injured, according to an airport spokesman.

This is just one of a series of issues that calls into question the safety and quality of UND's aviation program.
